Nikken & Independent Wellness Consultants such as myself have built and continue to build the company on a philosophy called "The Five Pillars of Health". We are committed to helping people create balanced lifestyles by promoting "total wellness" - a state of balance in the five key areas of life, Body, Mind, Family, Society, & Finances.
There's a prevalent myth that once we reach a certain age, we are expected to live with aches and pains associated with our body starting to fail. However; studies have shown that we are expected to live up to 120 years being mentally sharp, physically healthy, and ejoying life.
The Western approach is to only concern ourselves with the physical body, ignoring all other areas of wellness. For the body to experience total wellness, there must be a harmony between ALL five pillars.
